How do you follow that?

You follow it with a couple of nights 'honeymoon' in a mediocre sea front guest house at Littlehampton of course. Which, for a number of reasons, didn't come up to Marcia's expectations so Bob's approval rating has been on the slide ever since.
The fact that he had just cracked the £1 an hour mark didn't cut any ice either even though he had to drive to Southall in his Riley 1,5 everyday to get it. Driving home with a car full of curry every day didn't cut it either!
'Home' at that time was 37, Cleaveland Road, Surbiton living with Marcia's brother and family as Bob had put down a £50 deposit (asking price £4,750) on 44,Anyards Road, Cobham (site unseen) on their wedding day, but it took a bit longer than a weekend to complete. How was Bob to know?
He also paid £100 for the entire contents of the house and sheds which was a bit of luck as they had nothing. Except 60 years together of course!

Thought for the day.
'The business of life is the acquisition of memories. In the end that's all there is.'
Mr Carson of Downton Abbey.
'So what memories can we acquire today?
Zero?
No recollection of what happened yesterday'.

Cost the NHS a packet yesterday. More eye injections for age related macular degeneration plus unexpected laser surgery to both eyes. Hawk like vision restored. Lucky Bob.
A pint of Wellington in The Duke of Guinness on the way back was memorable.

Working hard at keeping great gran alive and changing the world.
Both virtually impossible.

Don't forget to turn your clocks back an hour tonight.
Great gran threw her clock across the room last night with great accuracy, you might say great grandfather now has time on his mind!

The reason why great gran throws anything within reach about the room, understandably, is because being trapped in a hospital bed with prison like bars for two and a half years and not being able to do anything without the help of others is enough to drive anybody up the wall. Even great grandfathers skill at solving problems is not a fat lot of good now because his ability to see, hear, walk, talk and think has all but disappeared. And yet, without a doubt you could say, 'we are the lucky ones'.

Significantly underwhelmed with all of great gran's live in carer's.
9.52pm
If they spent a bit less time on their ******* phones and more on seeing to great gran's needs it might prevent great grandfather tearing his hair out. If he had any.
