Tuesday 1st September 2026.
An update for old and new readers.
The world doesn't know it yet but The Robert Jones Concept will, one day be the prime source of energy on the planet.
Great Grandmother and great grandfather are planning to jive at The Bookham Jazz Club at The Old Barn Hall next Sunday lunchtime so see you there?
And if that doesn't happen we'll be in the bread bin!

Pacemaker check yesterday so at least something works!
Thursday 3rd September 2026.
A rather special day for doddery old great grandad so thanks to Cherry. A respite visit to The Barley Mow and old haunts in and around Bookham was great but too much dreaming is pointless so what will tomorrow bring, a change of live in carer for one. Lucky?
Saturday 5th September 2026.
Live in carer Laurie was brought up on a ranch in Illinois, she rides horses, likes Willie Nelson and play's the guitar so what's not to like?
Great grandfather is considering life in the bread bin. Or maybe enter the scarecrow competition at Cobham Garden Club.
Monday 7th September 2026.
The above is a towering multi trunk Leylandi tree gone berserk and hovering above Bob's Cosy Corner, it's in a neighbours garden. (Nobody reads this blog, except you of course.) Anyway, 30 odd years ago the lad who used to live next door constructed a tree house and lashed it to the trunks with nylon rope. The nylon rope strangled one of the trunks (see arrow) restricted growth and now the top bit is thicker and heavier than the bottom bit and it's already leaning.
So, if Bob ends up in the bread bin you'll know the reason why.
